Combining the technology of 12.3 megapixels and DX CMOS sensor format, the Nikon D300 takes image quality to new heights. Its 3-inch Super Density monitor gives you a choice between 7 brightness levels.

Live View Auto Focus is available in both hand-held or tripod mode giving you the flexibility to take pictures in a studio, remote environment, or from difficult angles. The Nikon D300 allows you to configure your pictures with 4 preset options and 9 customizable settings.

The Nikon D300 is packed with a self-cleaning ultrasonic sensor unit which lessens the reduction of image quality due to accumulation of dust particles. It is protected by a magnesium alloy coating and has been tested to deliver high performance and durability.

The optional wireless transmitter gives the Nikon D300 its WiFi remote capability and can also serve as a wired Ethernet connection for image transfer. It runs on the EN-EL3e Lithium Ion Battery which has a life span of up to 3,000 shots.

At full resolution, the Nikon D300 has a continuous shooting speed of  6 frames per second. For expanded memory capacity, you can include the optional Compact Flash Microdrive.
